Route 66 & local history
Yukon's downtown sits right on the historic Route 66 alignment. The lit-up Yukon's Best Flour grain elevator is the most photographed landmark in town. Walk Main Street for vintage signage, antique shops, and the Yukon Veterans Museum. The town's Czech heritage shows up everywhere — most famously at the annual Czech Festival the first Saturday of October, with a parade, polka, and traditional food.

- Christmas in the Park — Yukon's beloved drive-through holiday light display at Chisholm Trail Park.

- Yukon Farmers Market — Saturday mornings May through September.
- Yukon Mustangs football Fridays — a fall tradition that fills the stadium.
